13 Moons Extended Circle
Stitch together your own story of belonging with the Earth and Moon.
Create Your Own 13 Moons Calendar
Over the course of one year, you’ll deepen your connection with the land you call home and cultivate your own sacred relationship with the thirteen moons of the year through the process of creating your own 13 Moons calendar.
Together, in sisterhood, we’ll gather in a virtual circle around each new moon to embark on a journey of connection, reflection, embroidering, naming, and sharing.
In each Sunday session, through reflective inquiry, land-connection practices, and creative making, you'll develop personal moon names inspired by your relationship with the land, the changing seasons, and your own traditions and seasonal state of being.
You'll translate the words, imagery, feelings, and teachings that emerge into embroidered moon crests that, together over the course of the year, will create a calendar telling the story of your relationship with the land you call home.
Your calendar will become more than a record of the year. It will be a living tapestry of your unique story of belonging with the Earth and Moon. It acts as a sacred portal of connection between you and the Earth and Moon.
The Extended Circle includes additional Thursday evening embroidery gatherings between our ‘moonthly’ Sunday sessions, offering an opportunity to go deeper into creating together. These sessions will be focused on stitching and sharing.
